We hold regular events to raise money for our chosen charity, Cancer Research UK and enjoy team events and entertainment. Some of IRS’s recent activities are below.
IRS is the proud sponsor of Eldon Celtic Football Club U9 Jaguars based in Reading
The club offers outstanding coaching, great teams and creative players - many of whom transfer across to pro-clubs from around the country with Reading FC being the main benefactor. IRS is the sole sponsor for the U9 Jaguars team providing essential home and away kits and tracksuits, as well as training equipment including footballs, hoops, cones and football ladders. Why not take a look at their club website for more details.

Funk Foundation is a covers band who specialise in Funk, Soul and RnB music. They play anything from Motown Soul, disco to contemporary covers from artists such as Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran. Cakes for Cancer Research
The talents of IRS’s expert bakers (watch out Mary Berry) were on show for a Cake Sale for Cancer Research held in the Bicester offices on Friday 25th May. The sale proceeds went to Cancer Research UK, the chosen charity for IRS. The event raised £60, matched by IRS to a total of £120. A hearty thank you to those who made a donation, and especially to the brilliant bakers who gave their time, talent and ingredients to create such masterpieces of baking.
IRS Summer BBQ
From IRS’s Bicester offices in the heart of Oxfordshire, it’s only ever a short ride into the countryside. IRS team members took full advantage of our rural location for a Summer BBQ on Friday 1st June. The Trigger Pond in the local village of Bucknell was the perfect venue with its large garden and rural setting, not to mention fine ales and wines! The BBQ food and location were fantastic and a great afternoon was had by all. Thanks to Jack and to the lovely staff at The Trigger Pond.
5k ‘Pretty Mudder’ race!
IRS’s Pussadee Borrowman took part in the 5k ‘Pretty Mudder’ at Abington Park in Northampton, to raise money for Cancer Research. Pussadee proudly finished in just over 40 minutes and was one of the first to cross the finish line, having tackled all sorts of obstacles along the way which included getting wet and/or muddy! Over 1,000 people took part on the day. An amazing £145 was raised in sponsorship, which has been matched by the company, so a grand total of £290. A massive well done to Pussadee!
